Insulated double-wall construction and a heated lid ensure even cooking every time. Just add rice, water, push a button, and walk away. Program settings include long grain rice, short grain rice, and heat/simmer. The versatile heat/simmer function maintains the correct temperature to help prevent boil over. A digital countdown timer starts when 10 minutes remain in the cooking process, and a Tone sounds when cooking is complete. It automatically shifts to keep warm mode, and a count up timer runs for 8 hours, so operator knows how long the rice has been warmed. The nonstick inner cooking pot has handles for effortless removal and cleaning. Achieve consistent results regardless of operator, as the clear, visible water line markings assist with accurate liquid measurement. Stainless steel lid has a strong trigger handle to make it easy for operators to open and close. The hinged lid is attached to the base, which takes up less counter space.
